Alpine Silence

This painting was inspired by the quiet beauty of the French Alps, where the landscape feels almost untouched and time seems to slow down. I wanted to capture that particular feeling of standing in front of snowy mountains and feeling very small, but somehow completely at peace. The soft light, the layers of distant peaks and the stillness of the snow all stayed with me long after leaving. For me, painting is often about holding onto those little moments from places I’ve travelled to. Not necessarily recreating a landscape exactly as it was, but remembering how it felt to be there.
